Referee Certification Expires on December 31 of each year!

US Soccer Referees are required to certify annually. Each Referee's certification expires on December 31 of each year. It is the referee's responsibility to recertify each year prior to the deadlines established by the Colorado Referee Administration on behalf of US Soccer Referee Department.

Calendar year 2020 recertification classes will open in October, 2019!

Referees must be certified for 2020 before working games after January 1, 2020

I forgot to take the Recert before the deadline - what can I do?

If you did not certify last year but would like to work games, you have the ability to take a special course for referees who lapsed in grade. This course is open to those who were last certified in within the last 5 years only.  If you were last certified more than 5 years ago, you will have to take the new Grade 8 referee course per US Soccer directives.

To confirm when you were last registered with US Soccer and take one of the Lapse in Grade Recertification courses, you will need to contact the Colorado Referee Administration.

Please email to take part in this special program. Please include your USSF ID number if possible when you contact us. This will help track your registration records.
